High Tech Marketing Meet-up

Beatrix has been born and raised in Rotterdam but has moved to Eindhoven to study Sustainable Innovation at the Eindhoven University of Technology. She stopped her bachelor for 1.5 years to participate in Solar Team Eindhoven, where she was responsible for o.a. the marketing & communications. She managed to have a TV series about the World Solar Challenge on NPO1 prime time and a documentary about the team on National Geographic. During her master Sustainable Energy Technology, she worked at TU/e innovation Space where she helped to set-up & execute the communication strategy. Now, she is working at the impact startup Carbyon where she tries to make as much (visual) impact as possible.

Dirk is a 23-year-old autistic CEO of CORE CHANGEMAKERS, a student organization of 50 people. With CORE CHANGEMAKERS, he works on big problems in the circular economy such as battery fires and solar panel recycling. Under the wing of Willem de Vries (STEM), Dirk was introduced to the profession of marketing and in the meantime he has transformed his technical B2B into a market focused organization. He now also voluntarily teaches other students and student organizations in the field of marketing at the various knowledge institutions of Brabant. In addition, CORE (together with STEM) has conquered several exhibition floors in the past six months bt focusing their booth on live market problem solving. The fair guests come with questions, CORE CHANGEMAKERS live with answers! 

Edwin Vlems helps B2B companies with online sharing of knowledge from the company and how to use employees as a magnet for costomers and new employees. He speaks and writes about Demand Generation, Inbound Marketing/Recruitment, Content Marketing and Employee Advocacy. 

Lia Maria Marchena Fuenmayor is a marketing executive with experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies for tech companies. As the head of marketing at Avular, she is responsible for leading a team of marketing professionals in creating and implementing innovative marketing strategies that promote the Avular brand, drive sales, and increase customer engagement. In a world where customers are bombared with marketing messages, Lia Maria believes the narrative of a brand is pivotal to stand out from the competition, build a brand that customers trust and love and successfully engage and create long term relationships with audiences. 

Tessa Peeters is Marketing Specialist at EKK Eagle Industry, a Japanese supplier in the Automotive Industry. She is responsible for the marketing communication mostly for the five high precision factories in Europe and besides that, she also is involved in projects within the global company. The past eight years Tessa has put EKK on the map in Europe with the development of a brand strategy that included corporate identity and name recognition.
