About the Technical project leader course

During the course, you will acquire knowledge and skills to improve the execution and outcome of your projects. Through proven methods and techniques, you will learn to manage projects and control risks in a timely manner. The emphasis is on acting as a professional counterpart to your client(s).

Upon completion of the course, you will have the necessary skills and tools to successfully lead projects based on your technical background. You will be able to translate customer requirements into technical project outcomes in a controlled manner and achieve technical project results more efficiently and effectively.

Study material and workload

The course utilizes a digital learning portal containing handouts, presentations, assignments, and tests.

The study workload between two classroom sessions is approximately 5 to 10 hours. Each course day consists of the following learning cycle:

  1. Prior to the classroom session, familiarize yourself with the study material by:
    • reading the available handout
    • watching instructional videos
    • reviewing the learning objectives
  2. During the classroom session, actively engage with the study material by:
    • interactively going through presentations with the instructor
    • performing classroom assignments with other participants
    • taking regular breaks
  3. After the classroom session, apply the study material by:
    • completing a test before the next session
    • completing several work assignments before the exam

Blended learning

This course is offered in a blended learning format, which combines classroom sessions, individual preparation by the participant, and interactive elements via Mikrocentrum's digital learning portal. Through the portal, you can:

  • access information about classroom sessions
  • test your knowledge and skills before and during classroom sessions (please bring a laptop/tablet for use during sessions)
  • submit your work assignments and receive feedback
  • communicate with your instructor, Mikrocentrum, and fellow participants

Approximately 2 weeks after the last day of the course, a Mikrocentrum theory exam will be offered. Participants will have a maximum of 2 opportunities to take the exam.
