About the course TRIZ

Products and processes are being developed under increasing pressure. Additionally, technologies and customer demands are changing rapidly. These circumstances make it a significant challenge to efficiently find the best solutions and ideas. As a result, compromises are often made, leading to undesirable end results and insufficient added value. The TRIZ methodology teaches you to look at problems differently and work smarter, to be more efficient with time, and to think outside the box. The TRIZ course teaches you to systematically apply knowledge from outside your own company, market, or technology to solve bottlenecks more efficiently and effectively in your own innovation challenges.

Exercises

Applying the theory to bottlenecks within various provided practical cases, resulting in out-of-the-box ideas/solutions:

• Applying acquired knowledge in groups to one of the innovation bottlenecks brought by fellow participants
• Relationship of TRIZ with other applied methods such as Methodical Design, FMEA, and Six Sigma
• Recommendations on how to start using TRIZ in your own environment
